This collection consists of six vintage American tobacco products in varied original packaging formats, including cloth drawstring bags, a cardboard box, and paper-wrapped packs. The brands represented include: Winner Cut Plug manufactured by J. Wright Co. of Richmond, Virginia, successor to the American Tobacco Co.; White Ash Plain Clippings from H. E. Snyder Cigar Co., Inc. of Perkasie, Pennsylvania 1 3/4 oz. ; Sweet Mist Fine-Cut from Scotten, Dillon Company of Detroit, Michigan 1 1/2 oz. ; Bugler Blended Turkish and Domestic Cigarette Tobacco 3/4 oz. ; Old Hill Side from R. C. Owen Company of Gallatin, Tennessee; and Ojibwa Dark Fine-Cut from Scotten, Dillon Company 1 1/2 oz. . The packaging features printed typography and graphic illustrations characteristic of early to mid-20th-century advertising.
