Description
Model 1935 M35 Double Decal helmet utilized by the Polizei German Police forces. The helmet shell features the classic rolled rim and ventilation holes characteristic of the M35 design and retains its original black or deep field gray paint, showing appropriate scuffs and wear consistent with service use. Crucially, the helmet retains both of its original, prominent decals: the National Colors Decal featuring the red, white, and black shield with the central swastika , and the Polizei Eagle Decal on the opposite side, which displays the police eagle within a wreath and swastika, confirming its use by the police organization. The interior contains the original leather liner, which is perforated for ventilation and supported by a metal band, along with the remnants of its leather chinstrap, all showing heavy period patina and use. The double decal M35 Polizei helmet is highly sought after by collectors of Third Reich military and civil service headgear.
