Description
This variation is nearly four inches wide and is embroidered on red felt with aa blue border around the diamond. The Wings and eagle, globe, and anchor are embroidered in golden yellow thread with black embroidered details to the globe and black “III” for the third MAW. Cheesecloth backing. There are a couple of minor moth nips to the front of the felt, but they are hard to see. The 3rd MAW was the only one of the Air Wings to have a variation made this way. This patch has also been removed from a uniform.
