An outstanding example of a named WWII officer’s uniform, attributed to R.F. Evans and dated June 1944. This finely tailored set includes the tunic, matching trousers, original belt, and overseas cap, all in excellent condition.The tunic features auxiliary brass collar devices, a sewn-on ribbon bar indicating service in the Italian Campaign, and a beautifully padded RAF Observer’s brevet on the left chest—an elegant and desirable feature.An exceptional, complete ensemble that offers excellent display appeal and research potential. A fine representation of wartime service in both the Royal Air Force and the Mediterranean Theater.
