Description
High quality theater made 13th AF officer’s tan summer weight tunic by Australian tailor Rothwells – Brisbane. Uniform consists of the tunic and matching trousers, both with a Rothwells tailor label sewn inside. Also included is a tailor-made officer’s uniform shirt with a Kohinoor tailor label in the neck, indicating manufacture by this well-known Indian tailor who made uniforms for US troops stationed there. The tunic, pants and shirt are in perfect condition, near mint, with no mothing or damage of any kind, which is hard to find with these summer weight uniforms. Very high tailor quality. Uniform has a beautiful bullion 13th AF patch on left sleeve, bullion captain’s bars, and embroidered US and winged props insignia sewn on the jacket lapels. Above left breast is a sewn on bullion pilot wing and a 2-row ribbon bar with DFC, AM, American, Pacific and Philippine campaign ribbons. Also included is a matching tan web belt with Luxenberg brass buckle. Uniform is not named that I can find. An exceptional condition tunic with great eye appeal.
