Offered here is an original WWI U.S. Model 1917 bayonet manufactured by Remington for use with the M1917 Enfield rifle. The blade is marked with the Remington 1917 “R” stamp and the U.S. ordnance flaming bomb, indicating official government issue.The blade retains its original length and shows a pleasing aged patina, consistent with its era. The wood grips are intact and well-fitted, showing wear appropriate to age and service.
