Historically rich World War II grouping belonging to George Buckley, as indicated by the inscription on the photo album cover, centering around a collection of his military awards and two photo albums providing visual documentation of his service in the European Theater of Operations ETO. The medals include a Purple Heart in its original case, the Good Conduct Medal, and the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal EAME, all mounted with their respective ribbons, ribbon bars, and a Combat Infantryman Badge CIB, recognizing his frontline service. The grouping includes two key albums: a hardbound U.S. ARMY photograph album containing original period photos from his time overseas, and a postcard album with souvenir postcards from places like Rabat and Rome, confirming his unit s movements across North Africa and Italy.
