December 7th Militaria and Aviation Auction
Lot 136:
Description
World War II German SS EM/NCO belt and buckle grouping, a highly desirable piece of Third Reich militaria. The belt features a black leather strap, which shows significant wear and field use, and is fitted with a specialized silver-toned metal buckle. The buckle is rectangular with rounded corners and features a prominent Imperial Eagle design clutching a swastika-emblazoned wreath, surrounded by the SS motto Meine Ehre heist Treue My Honor is Loyalty. The design exhibits significant original patina and oxidation, particularly in the recessed areas. Crucially, the leather belt itself bears clear SS and RZM markings , indicating official production and issuance by the Reichszeugmeisterei for the Schutzstaffel SS organization. The belt is complete with its original roller buckle adjuster, and the SS EM/NCO buckle, while lacking discernible maker marks on the face, aligns perfectly with official issue patterns.
