Description
A superb artifact of the Pacific campaign, this is an original pair of World War II United States Marine Corps USMC P-44 Reversible Camouflage Utility Trousers. This rugged garment was designed for Marine forces in the later years of the Pacific Theater. The trousers are constructed from durable Herringbone Twill HBT fabric and feature the iconic reversible Frogskin camouflage pattern, allowing the Marine to alternate between the green Jungle pattern and the tan Beach pattern for situational concealment. They are correctly identified as the P-44 pattern by their utilitarian cut and hardware. They feature the characteristic hip pocket access and utilize the proper black metal snaps stamped U.S. MARINE CORPS on the fly closure. The trousers exhibit excellent overall condition with vibrant camouflage colors and minimal fading, displaying their period ink markings and size stamp on the interior waistband. This is an extremely desirable piece of authentic WWII USMC gear.
