Description
This is an original U.S. Army OG-107 Tropical Combat Coat, specifically identified as the 3rd Pattern Jungle Jacket, a highly recognizable piece of field gear from the Vietnam War. The jacket is rendered in the classic Olive Green 107 OG-107 color, a standard utility shade for the era.
The 3rd Pattern is distinguished from earlier models by several key features, most notably the exposed buttons on the front closure and pocket flaps, which replaced the covered fly front of the 2nd Pattern. It retains the signature four bellows-style pocketsÑtwo on the chest and two near the waistÑdesigned to hold essential gear while maintaining a low profile.
