Description
This lot features a premier key issue from the Bronze Age of comics, The Uncanny X-Men 129, published by Marvel Comics in January 1980. This landmark issue is renowned for the first appearances of Kitty Pryde, Emma Frost the White Queen, and Sebastian Shaw, as well as the debut of the Hellfire Club. The issue features the classic creative team of writer Chris Claremont and artists John Byrne and Terry Austin. This is the Newsstand Edition, which is increasingly favored by collectors for its lower survival rate in high grades compared to Direct Market editions. The comic has been authenticated and graded by CGC.
