Description
This is the premiere issue of the Teen Titans first self-titled series, published by DC Comics with a cover date of February 1966. Written by Bob Haney with cover and interior art by the legendary Nick Cardy, this Silver Age key issue features the classic team roster of Robin, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, and Aqualad. The story, titled The Beast-God of Xochatan, includes appearances and cameos by their mentors: Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. This specimen has been professionally graded and encapsulated by the Certified Guaranty Company CGC, receiving a Universal Grade of 7.5 Very Fine- with the highly coveted White Pages designation. The back cover features a full-page color advertisement for Aurora Model Motoring slot car sets. A vintage retail price sticker is present on the upper right corner of the front cover, preserved beneath the CGC holder.
