Description
A pair of original production animation materials from the production of The Little Mermaid. The lot consists of one hand-painted production celluloid and one corresponding graphite production drawing. The celluloid features a blonde female character adorned with a white shell headband and a green floral garment, positioned against a blue water-themed background. Visible production codes on the celluloid include LM, 89, SC 89, and L33. The accompanying graphite-on-paper production drawing depicts the same character and includes a red ink notation reading INSIDE MOUTH and a matching SC 89 scene marking. The items are mounted to a cardboard backing which bears a handwritten message dated 1999 that reads, Thanks Edna! Cel is inside – Open with care! Augi/sassykitty.
