Description
A group of T206 White Border baseball cards issued by the American Tobacco Company between 1909 and 1911. The collection features color lithographed portraits and action poses of professional players including Ames (N.Y. Nat?l), Delehanty (Washington), Burch (Brooklyn), and Berger (Cleveland). The cards are constructed of cardstock with printed player identification in the lower margin. The reverse of each card features printed advertisements for various tobacco brands including Polar Bear Scrap Tobacco, Old Mill Cigarettes, and two variations of Piedmont Cigarettes (150 Subjects and 350-460 Subjects).
Condition: The cards exhibit age-appropriate wear consistent with handling, including rounded corners, surface soiling, and minor creasing. Toning and light staining are visible on the reverse sides. The items are presented in individual clear protective sleeves.
