Description
A group of vintage baseball cards from the T206 White Border series, issued circa 1909-1911. This collection features color lithographic portraits and action poses of professional players, including Danny Murphy (Philadelphia Athletics), Del Howard (Chicago Cubs), Bill Carrigan (Boston Red Sox), and Frank Arellanes (Boston Red Sox). The reverse of the cards displays period tobacco advertisements; one card features a Sweet Caporal Cigarettes back in red ink, while the others feature Piedmont The Cigarette of Quality backs in blue ink. All cards are from the 350 Subjects series and indicate production at Factory No. 25, 2d Dist. VA. The cards are printed on period cardstock.
Condition: The cards exhibit varying degrees of age-related wear consistent with the period of issue, including rounded corners, edge wear, and minor surface soiling. The cards are individually housed in modern clear plastic protective sleeves.
