The white button-front jersey features the name RIPKEN and number 8 in stitched orange and black tackle twill on the reverse. The front displays the Orioles script across the chest with black piping along the neck and placket. An embroidered American flag patch is situated on the back collar. The item includes original retail tags and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Goldin Sports Marketing & Licensing, stating the jersey was personally autographed between October 13 and 15, 2001, in Baltimore, Maryland.
