Description
This lot features an Upper Deck Authenticated commemorative figurine set from the Tributes series, celebrating Ken Griffey Jr. reaching his 350th career home run on September 25, 1998. The set includes a hand-painted miniature figurine of Griffey in a Seattle Mariners uniform, captured in a signature batting follow-through pose. The figurine is paired with a circular display base featuring a wood-grain finish and a gold-tone metal plaque. The plaque is inscribed with the text KEN GRIFFEY, JR. – HOME RUN 350 and UPPER DECK AUTHENTICATED. A clear display dome is included for assembly, currently protected by original foam and plastic wrap. The underside of the base bears a descriptive gold-tone label providing historical context for the milestone home run, including the inning and game situation. The item is housed in its original polystyrene interior packaging and the original Tributes series cardboard box.
Condition: The set appears to be in excellent, largely unused condition. The figurine and base remain in their original plastic protective wrapping. The display dome is encased in its original foam sleeve. The interior polystyrene packaging is intact, and the exterior cardboard box shows only minor shelf wear consistent with storage.
