Description
A World War II era United States Marine Corps P41 utility coat, also known as the P-1941 pattern. The garment is constructed from sage green cotton herringbone twill (HBT) fabric. The design features a three-pocket configuration consisting of a single patch pocket on the left breast and two large patch pockets at the waist. The jacket is finished with a straight hem and single-button cuffs. The left breast pocket displays a black ink stencil with the block letters USMC positioned above the Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) insignia. The jacket retains a portion of its original metal tack buttons on the front placket and cuffs.Chest: 22 inches (pit-to-pit).
