Description
A United States Marine Corps P1941 (P41) utility jacket constructed from sage green herringbone twill (HBT) cotton. This garment features a standard three-pocket configuration consisting of a single patch pocket on the left chest and two larger patch pockets at the waist. The front closure and sleeve cuffs are secured with copper-alloy buttons stamped with the text U.S. MARINE CORPS around the rim. The left chest pocket is marked with a black stenciled USMC above the Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) emblem. An interior handwritten laundry mark in dark ink reads HK 258 at the neckline. The jacket exhibits a standard boxy cut characteristic of 1940s military utility wear.Chest (Pit-to-Pit): 24 inches.
