The tags are suspended from a steel bead chain. Also included is an officially named US Army Good Conduct Medal. The bronze planchet features the standard Efficiency Honor Fidelity design on the obverse. The reverse is professionally engraved in two lines with the name JAMES A. FOSTER JR. The medal is suspended from a red and white striped silk ribbon with a slot-back brooch. The final item is a veteran organization lapel pin. The pin is constructed of gold-tone metal depicting an eagle with outstretched wings, featuring a silver-tone chevron motif and a star on the bottom banner.
