Description
This lot consists of two silver-colored metal pocket accessories, including a vesta case and a figural Man in the Moon locket. The vesta case features a hinged lid and an embossed repousse design on the front with a central radiating sunburst surrounded by foliate scrolls. The reverse of the case is plain and bears an engraved cursive monogram that reads EJG. Small marks are present near the hinge, but individual characters are not clearly legible. The second item is a crescent-shaped hinged locket depicting a Man in the Moon face in profile with a stylized eye, nose, and mouth. This double-sided piece includes a jump ring for suspension as a charm or pendant.
