Lot 130:
Description
This significant historical artifact consists of a WWII-era German ‘Jude’ yellow star armband, a harrowing emblem of the systematic persecution initiated under the Third Reich. Such armbands were mandatory identification markers imposed upon Jewish populations in occupied territories, serving as a tool of segregation and dehumanization. This specimen stands as a somber testament to the historical atrocities of the Holocaust, requiring careful preservation and academic study to ensure the lessons of this period are not forgotten.
