WWII Named Group – Timothy J. Hurley (Colorado 1907), Wallet & Children’s Letters. This personal-effects group is named to Timothy John Hurley (also "Hurley, T.J." / "T.J. HURLEY"), with an address scrap reading "Timothy John Hurley, 732 Bellaire" and Denver, CO postal material. Included are: Soldier’s Individual Pay Record (W.D., A.G.O. Form No. 28, May 5, 1944) with his name at top; "A Pocket Guide to New Guinea" booklet also named to him; dark brown bifold wallet holding a portrait of a woman and young boy; two letters signed "Tim" (one dated February 10, 1945); Fort Dix postcard "Ready to Go on a Jaunt"; artillery field postcard; and small ID scraps. Heavy carry wear to the pay record and New Guinea guide. Indicates Pacific service context via the New Guinea pocket guide.
