Description
This set of vintage commercial airline service ware consists of one large circular serving plate and eight matching smaller circular dishes, likely intended for use as coasters or butter pats. Each piece is constructed from a silver-tone metal and features a plain rim with a recessed center. An applied metal emblem is centered on each dish, depicting a stylized eagle with wings spread, flanked by a capital letter A on both the left and right sides. This insignia is the historical corporate logo for American Airlines, utilized during the mid-20th century. No additional hallmarks or manufacturer marks are visible on the upper surfaces.
