Description
This collection of model railroad accessories and track is manufactured by Louis Marx and Co. The group features a variety of lithographed tin structures, including a large passenger station with a green roof, brick-patterned walls, and a red-and-white checkered platform. Also included is a tall red lattice signal tower with a green-roofed observation cabin and three smaller lithographed tin buildings: a church with faux stained-glass windows, a yellow house with a red roof, and a radio train control shack. The assortment contains several silver-tone lamp posts, a railroad crossing crossbuck sign, a caution sign for high-speed trains, a hand truck, and a plastic electrical control panel with red and green buttons. A substantial quantity of three-rail metal O-gauge track in both straight and curved sections is included. One original cardboard box for a Lighted Boulevard Lamp Post Set is present, featuring the manufacturer name and the circular MAR logo. Identification is confirmed by printed marks and logos visible on the lamp post box, the control panel, and the radio shack building.
