Fall 2026 Militaria and Aviation Auction
Lot 469:
Description
WWII-era German Police (Ordnungspolizei) service trousers in the characteristic blue-grey police wool. Made by Roger Kauert of Dresden. The stamp ‘POL.BA. 1943’ denotes ‘Polizei-Bekleidungsamt’ (Police Clothing Office) and the production year. The features, such as the D-ring for a dagger hanger, the distinctive herringbone twill suspension straps, and the high-quality buckle hardware (marked ‘D.R.G.M.’, indicating ‘Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster’), are consistent with authentic German military/police supply manufacture stamp.
